Unlock 4.0: Events with ceiling of 100 persons to be permitted from 21st September
The limited gatherings can be held with mandatory wearing of face masks, social distancing, provision for thermal scanning and hand wash or sanitizer.

According to the latest guidelines issued by Ministry Of Home Affairs, "Social/ academic/ sports/ entertainment/ cultural/ religious/ political functions and other congregations will be permitted with a ceiling of 100 persons, with effect from 21st September 2020."
However, such limited gatherings can be held with mandatory wearing of face masks, social distancing, provision for thermal scanning and hand wash or sanitizer.
“State, UT Governments shall not impose any local lockdown (State/ District/ sub-division/City/ village level), outside the containment zones, without prior consultation with the Central Government,” the guidelines added.
EEMA lauded the decision and thanked the government for hearing its pleas to save events by opening up events.
EEMA also ensured that it will keep dialoguing with the government to open the ceiling further more on the size of the venue on 4sqmtr per-person formula.
It is also now the responsibility of all the industry stakeholders to train themselves and the teams to conduct absolutely safe events following the SOPs proposed by the association.
The guidelines also stated that there will be no restriction on Inter-State and intra-State movement of persons and goods. No separate permission/ approval/ e-permit will be required for such movements.
