Surat based Red Carpet Events executed a fairy-tale wedding for Daksham and Sapna at Hotel Inder Residency. For the company’s first Rajasthan wedding assignment, they adopted a mix of ethnic Rajasthani and contemporary elements.



The groom & bride side were welcomed in traditional Rajasthani style with traditional tikka in presence of dholi, tutari-player and kachchi ghodi artists. While the guests met each other, the 1^st event of the day took off – pool party.







The Pool party was organized using colourful elements – right from colourful pin-wheels to helium balloons to Hawaiian theme props to gazebos to sit in. For entertainment live dholi was clubbed with the DJ. The pool party had a DJ along the pool, rain-dance, game anchor, foot-spa, mehndi, a fun photo-booth and some great food.







After an enthusiastic pool-party, the Sangeet in the evening started a little late with the family members showing their dancing skills followed by Rohan Sequeira and his band from Mumbai performing for the gathering. A glamorous Sangeet set was created using only an LED backdrop, naked bulbs and red carved panels - sans any draping and flowers which are usually used in set-up.







The 2^nd day included thebaraat, pheras and reception evening. Considering the fact that all guests were fond of getting pictures clicked, special baraat posters were made for them to pose with. The bride side wanted to ensure hospitality for the baraat; and it was made possible with a golf-cart going along-side baraat with dry-fruits, finger-foods, beverages and chilled beer cans.







A red velvet and crystal ladi set-up for pheras and reception marked a closing of the ceremonies for Sapna & Daksham’s Udaipur wedding; with fabulous Sufi band that performed at the reception evening.
