Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin from the house of Radico Khaitan Limited partnered with India’s biggest gin festival, The Gin Explorers Club in Delhi, which witnessed a huge turnout of more than 5000 people over the weekend.

Radico Khaitan Limited set an experiential bar for its Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin at the 4th and 5th March 2023 event at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi, which was a hit among the Gin connoisseurs present there. Four signature Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin cocktails were served at the bar along with the other host of activities at the event.

This latest edition of Gin Explorers Club witnessed a tremendous turnout of gin lovers who enjoyed the drink in an environment buzzing with true pop, rock, and blues. With an eclectic line-up, people sipped and swayed with music performances over the two days with artists like Aneesha Dass, Ashna Malik, Avantika, DJ SA, Lynston (Throwback), Nina Shah, The Copycats, adding a little groovy vibe to the ambiance of this fest.

With its introduction in Delhi in 2017, The Gin Explorer Club has become India’s Biggest Gin Festival that follows the philosophy, “Make India fall in love with Gin”, and provides an immersive experience as they bring multiple Gin brands, eateries, music and more all under a single roof.

Talking about the gin market, Amar Sinha, Chief Operating Officer Radico Khaitan Limited, said, “The tremendous response to the event, with footfall far surpassing our expectations, is proof that patrons and consumers were looking forward to experiential events such as this. The changing consumption patterns have shown a preference shift to more experimental consumption and adoption of alternative spirits in the past few years.”

“Events such as this help in experiencing the finer nuances of the gin offerings. While premium Gin is an internationally favoured spirit, we are happy to see its emergence in the Indian subcontinent. Our partnership with this event has showcased our international quality offerings using truly Indian ingredients,” Sinha concluded.

Radico Khaitan Limited’s Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin is named after the city of Jaisalmer, which is primarily known for the Jaisalmer Fort. The premium taste of Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin comes from the ancient Indian knowledge of herbs. Seven of the 11 botanicals used in the distillation have been sourced from all four corners of India. Sweet orange peel from Central India, Cubeb Berries and Lemon Grass from Southern India, Darjeeling Green Tea leaves from Eastern India, Lemon Peel from Western India, the Coriander and Vetiver from the fields around Jaisalmer. Angelica roots, liquorice, and caraway seeds are among the other botanicals used in the gin, giving it a spicy, slightly anise-tinged flavour.

Currently available in 750ml bottles, Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin is going to introduce new SKUs in 180 ml and 60 ml in both Karnataka and Telanga. Also, the brand aims at launching its product in Andhra Pradesh very soon.
