Fountainhead partners India Center Foundation to manage 2nd Global Partnership Summit

It was a celebration of the incredible ties that bind India and Japan together! Spread over four days, from the 11th to 14th of December 2017, and across multiple venues at Aerocity, New Delhi; the second edition of Global Partnership Summit saw a gathering of over 3000 global and business leaders, entrepreneurs, influencers, policy makers, and youth leaders from all across the world. Fountainhead MKTG (a Dentsu Aegis Network Company) was roped in for planning and executing the event.

Serving as the perfect platform for establishing an ADM (Alternative Development Model) Framework, the summit witnessed the presence of eminent leaders like Alphons Joseph Kannanthanam - Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Culture, and Tourism, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat - Minister of State for Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India, Nobuo Kishi – Former State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Japan, Daisaku Kadokawa – Mayor, Kyoto City, Michiko Ueno - Member, Liberal Democratic Party and the party for Japanese Kokoro, Yosuke Watanabe - Director General-Social Infrastructure Finance Department, JBIC, Mihoko Tamamura - Director, World Food Program & Former Country Director of WFP India, Manoj Kohli - Chairman, SoftBank Energy, Mr. Amitabh Kant - CEO of NITI Aayog, Dr. Sudhir Kumar Mishra - Distinguished Scientist & Director General (BrahMos), DRDO, Ministry of Defence and CEO & MD, Vishwavir Ahuja - CEO, RBL Bank, George Molakal - CEO, ALCOR Fund, Alkesh Kumar Sharma, IAS - CEO & Managing Director, DMICDC, Dr. P S Rana - Former Chairman, Hudco, amongst several others delegates.

Amidst the presence of several dignitaries from India, Japan, USA, Europe, GCC, ASEAN and Africa, the inaugural ceremony of the summit commenced with a plenary session on “Genesis of the Alternative Development Model (ADM) Framework”, chaired by Vibhav Kant Upadhyay – Founder Chairman, GPS and Chairman, India Center Foundation. This was followed by the performance of the theme song for GPS – Better Now – by the internationally renowned American band, “Now Dreaming”. Showcasing the beauty of Indian music and culture, Madhura Sane – an award winning Kathak Dancer, gave a mesmerizing performance with customized visuals to support. Following this, was the lamp lighting ceremony with blessings from spiritual leaders as Sri Sri Ravi Shankar – Founder, The Art of Living and Dr. Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi - Chief Imam. Thereafter, the ceremony witnessed addresses by several dignitaries and leaders, ending with a networking dinner. 

This 4-day summit had over 40 sessions focused on Healthcare, Infrastructure & Logistics, Energy, Tourism, Art & Culture, Agro Economy, Banking & Finance, Education & Skill Development, and Information Communication Technology, Smart Knowledge & Agriculture Corridor, Trans Asian Buddhist Circuit, Renewable Energy Initiatives, Smart Cities Initiative, Varanasi Kyoto Initiative and National Electric Vehicle Initiative.
