Fevicol held its 9^th Annual ‘Caring with Style’ fashion show in association with The Cancer Patients Aid Association, on 11^th May, 2014 in Mumbai. The chosen venue for the event was NSCI New Indoor Stadium Haji Ali. The event was executed by Entertainment Bay.



This initiative is a part of Pidilite’s continuous commitment to support children suffering from blood cancer for the 9th year in succession. The fashion show will witness style icons, achievers and prominent figures including chief guest, Ranbir Kapoor,  Dr. Rishma Pai, Neetu Chandra, Lucky Morani, Gauhar Khan, Rashmi Uday Singh, Amrita Rao, Tara Sharma, Lucky Morani, Parizad Kolah Marshall amongst others from different walks of life, dressed in creations of ace designers Vikram Phadnis and Shaina NC. The event was hosted by Cyrus Broacha, RK Malishka, Bharti, Rashmi Nigam, and Manish Paul. The artists that performed at the event were Neeti Mohan, Shankar mahadevan and Siddharth Mahadevan, Kakkar Sisters – Akriti , Prakuti , Sukriti  and a Live Aerial Dance Act by Terence Lewis and 25 dancers. Approximately 80-100 celebrities walked the ramp in support of Cancer Patients.







The event was attended by about 80,000 people and had 2.5 hours of packed entertainment with multiple artists. The highlight of the event were Ranbir Kapoor, Saadhna and Aditi Rao Hyadri, as they walked the ramp as real-life achievers.





Commenting on 9th Caring with Style fashion show, Shaina NC said, “The concept of ‘Caring With Style’ is ‘glamour with a purpose’ – bringing fashion and real people together. Over the years we have received generous support from many Indian celebrities like Gauhar Khan, Sakshi Tanwar and for the first time in 40 years, Sadhana, yester-year actress is walking the ramp to support the cause.  We are certain of receiving an overwhelming response this year too and helping patients affected by this disease.”







Vikram Phadnis added, “I would say that I have had the good fortune to be associated with The Cancer Patients Association along with Shaina NC for the second time and I have been left overwhelmed at every such instance.  I am so delighted today to partner with Pidilite and Shaina NC to bring you this show which not only celebrates fashion but also is a cause to raise funds for those who are suffering from cancer. I would also like to thank Pidilite for their commitment to this cause over the years and giving me this wonderful opportunity. I do wish that this small effort of ours goes a long way in creating awareness on the cause.”
