Author Aura Bhattacharjee has announced the launch of her book - "Dozen Pebbles Washed Ashore by Life” - an ideal companion for you during your travel sojourns, spending that leisure weekend afternoon, on a date with yourself at a cozy café, and unwinding before going to bed after a long day at work. A collection of twelve fictional short stories, compact, smooth, colorful like pebbles; shaped by the ebb and flow of life, “Dozen Pebbles Washed Ashore by Life” throughout its length transports you to various places, introducing you to the essence of every location, be it in the form of people, food, or just how the sky looks in that place during a clear sunset.

Speaking about the book, Aura expresses, “The intriguing short stories draw inspirations from incidents in my life, characters that I have met, and places that I have travelled to. With every story unfolding, you will find some intrinsic messages embedded.”

Following one of Aura’s stories getting published in an Anthology titled Kaleidoscope, also published by StoryMirror in 2019; this is her second paper-back publication in the form of her own collection of stories.

An Enterprise Architecture Manager governing Innovation, Digitalization and Technology related projects of Mondelēz International (housing the beloved brands like Cadbury, 5 Star, Oreo, Toblerone, Tang, Bournvita, to name a few), Aura joined the company after finishing her two-years full-time MBA from SPJIMR, Mumbai (as a part of which, she had also pursued courses in Carnegie Mellon University at Pittsburgh, USA, for a month). Before her MBA, she worked across consulting and analytics domains after completing her Chemical Engineering from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad campus. She lives in Mumbai with her husband, who has been a strong pillar of support for her in this journey. Besides her corporate career, she has been a published author with StoryMirror; and runs her own YouTube channel containing Kathak-based dance choreographies and classical vocal song covers. She has had nine years of training in Dancing, Singing and Painting.
