Expectationswere high when ASUS announced the launch of ZenFone 2 on April 23, at a high profile event at Kingdom of Dreams Gurgaon.

With the theme “See What Other’s Can’t See” the new technological innovation by ASUS was launched in the presence of Bollywood celebrities like Saif Ali Khan, DabooRatnani, singer Aditi Sharma and Actress/VJ AnushkaDandekar who was the emcee for the event.

With a dark themed ambience at its helm a surprising element at the event were 5 stunning light and sound installations at the event that symbolized the theme of ASUS ZenFone 2.

EE exclusively caught up with Vandana Agrawal, Founder and Managing Director, EO2 Events who executed the launch on the idea behind installations and overall execution of the event.

When asked upon how was the idea of light and sound installations at a mobile launch conceived Vandana said, “As you know the theme of the ZenFone2  is see what others can’t see and that is the reason we decided to give people the visual treat. We thought what could be better than sound and light installations and hence the final result is before you.”

Vandana also spoke about the differentiating elements of this launch from the first Zenfone launch, also executed by EO2 Events. She said, “The first launch was also very good and we created a benchmark for ourselves. The biggest challenge this time was to come up with something that surpasses what we have achieved in the past.  This time apart from the installation we have also taken special care of the phone demo zone which is much bigger this time and has more features. Also we have had certain innovative ideas that we have come up with in terms of the overall design and we also used a lot of 3D mapping and the creation of visual content on the stage as these were crucial elements of the lunch for us.

When asked behind the reasons for zeroing down on Kingdom of Dreams as the venue for the launch Vandana responded, “Though we were part of the selection process but it was a decision taken overall by the ASUS team.
