50 companies from 6 countries exhibit at India Gaming Show 2017

India Gaming Show 2017 organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and supported by Ministry of Electronics, Information and Technology was opened up with the new paths for gaming companies across the globe at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The main goal of this show was to provide a platform for gamers around the country to explore the various emerging trends like esports, Cosplay and VR.

The Republic of Korea was honored as a guest country and Japan was Partner Country. Also delegates’ participation from other countries like USA, UK, Poland, and Germany were seen.

On the opening, His Excellency Cho Hyun - Ambassador of Embassy of The Republic of Korea to India visited the show and said that India is an emerging platform for Gaming industries across the world. This show has rightly served its purpose as many companies are able to showcase their products and understand the feedback taken from Indian participants. These insights will help the companies build their gaming strategies.

Kim Kum Pyoung- Director of Korean Cultural Centre, India congratulated all the organizers and participants for the successful event.

There was glimpse of the latest technological innovations in the gaming industry by checking out the Virtual Reality (VR) booth in the South Korean Pavilion which included games like Adventure Time Battle Royal, Legend of Thief, Marchen Busters, God of Soul, Army vs Zombie, Sniper Girls and many more.

In addition, show contained a host of excited activities like exhibitions, merchandise, video game showcases and conferences. This convention also served as an avenue for both exchanging of ideas as well as B2B meetings. The Indian gaming community also got an excellent opportunity to experience the gaming cultures of the different attended countries. Many companies presented their products in the expo area of the Pragati Maidan like Kocca, Monorama, Zepetto, Tritone Sony, Konami Digital, SEGA Games, and Square Enix offered visitors to play the games.

Other companies like Samsung, HyperX and NODWIN Gaming also gave the visitors a preview of their products.
