25000 people & 2500 pets attend Pet festival 'Pet Fed'

India’s biggest Pet festival, Pet Fed made a comeback with its third annual edition in Delhi on 17-18th December at the NSIC Grounds, Okhla between 10am-8pm. About 25000 people & 2500 pets graced the festival spanning over 2 days.


The festival witnessed an enormous fashion show for pets for which the showstopper was actor, Dino Morea, who himself is an avid supporter and friend of the festival. He walked the ramp with one of the lucky visiting dogs for which Pet Fed ran a contest on its facebook page. With 3 acres of lush green area and 10,000 sq. ft. off-leash zones, this year the numbers of activities were nearly doubled with dog swings & rides, dedicated cat zone, pet bakeries and much more. The organizers have aggregated more than 100 stalls from across the country for pets & pet parents in order to bring the best of products & services for the pets in the city.

The highlights also include a special art gallery for dogs made scientifically in a way for the dogs to be able to recognize the patterns and a one of a kind doggy café in partnership with Puppychino, serving everything from doggy beer to doggy pizza and everything in between.

With all the fun & entertainment, the fest acknowledged the hard work of the pet industry count, through a special awards night, where all the new ideas in the pet space were recognized. And to top it all, a part of the revenue from the festival will be donated to NGOs working for stray animals.

The associated actor, Dino Morea says, Pet Fed 2016 was an amazing experience, seeing so many pets and happy pet parents just filled me with joy. Pet Fed is by far one of the best festivals I have been to and we hope to bring this festival to every city in the future.

Akshay Gupta, an alumnus of the Delhi University, who is the brain behind conceptualizing Pet Fed started it at a young age of 22 with a sole aim of providing pet parents with a new and exciting experience. Entering into the third successful edition of his dream start-up, He says, “We are extremely elated to have successfully completed our biggest edition of Pet Fed so far. The enthusiasm of all pet parents and lovers was tremendous and the footfalls exceeded our expectations with more than 25000 people and 2500 pets."
"With Dino on-board, we aim to target 3 cities in 2017 namely Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru", he added.
