Vodafone’s Tee Walk Golf Series –Another Feather In The Hat

Golf and corporates kind of go hand in hand. Golf is a stress buster, a sport for the rich and when the bug bites you, it’s really hard to quit. Which is why when Vodafone launched its Tee Walk Golf series about six years ago, it was an instant hit. This year, Vodafone Business Services (VBS) has appointed Nimbus Sport to manage its flagship corporate Golf series, Vodafone Tee Walk. Vodafone Tee Walk is one of India’s most prestigious corporate golf series with presence across four cities and featuring the best corporate golfers across the country. The series will commence with the Mumbai leg on January 18, 2014 to be held at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club. Into its sixth edition in 2014, invitations to the event are most sought after among corporate golfers.



Vodafone and sports is like moth to light. If one was to look at all of its past associations, you would notice that Vodafone is an official partner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the title sponsor of the Indian Badminton League (IBL). Vodafone is associated with the sponsorship of cricket, football and rugby globally. They take the games seriously.

Keeping in line with this, Vodafone Tee Walk has set standards in corporate golf in terms of the event format and unmatched hospitality, to improve the golfers’ experience.



Six top performers of Vodafone Tee Walk will be participating in the Pro Am of India’s largest professional golf event, the Hero Indian Open 2015. The Hero Indian Open has completed 50 editions and is promoted by Nimbus Sport. For the first time the highlights of the Vodafone Tee Walk will be broadcast on television. The four legs of the series to be held in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi and Bangalore will be packaged and showcased on Neo Sports.
