Van Heusen launches 'Walk the Ramp' campaign
Indian fashion house Van Heusen has roped in actress Deepika Padukone to design a range of women's bags and dresses named Limited Edition.
To create buzz around this development Deepika Padukone has shot an exclusive video with the brand for an interesting consumer engaging "selfie" contest.
The campaign named ‘Walk the Ramp with Deepika’ gives Van Heusen consumers a chance to assemble a look from the Van Heusen Limited Edition collection, upload a picture on the contest page and tell Van Heusen 'why the look they've created is limited edition'. Ten glamorous winners would be hand-picked by Deepika to walk the ramp with her at the launch of the new collection. Last date for entries towards the contest is March 31st.
Commenting on the association with Van Heusen Deepika Padukone commented, "Ever so often, when I see a dress, I just wish it had a little something extra - a trim or a bow that could take it just a notch higher. Every piece you see in the collection is designed by me, with the sole intention of making a woman feel special, and yet real.”
