Team Candid celebrates Diwali by being socially responsible

Candid Marketing has been celebrating Diwali with the associated excitement and involvement of the team. This year the agency has decided to go the extra mile to spread happiness for the less fortunate sections of the society, in the spirit of the festival season.

Team Candid strongly believes that the greatest gift we can offer anyone is the ‘gift of a smile’, says Atul S Nath, Managing Director, Candid Marketing. As a part of its new Diwali initiative - ‘Light up a Smile’, the team has launched an internal donation drive where the team can either opt for a Diwali gift given to them by the company or choose to share the same value of money as a contribution to 3 organisations – Akshaya Patra, Helpage India & Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre.

“Light up a Smile” also includes a similar campaign for our clients; we are not sending any Diwali Gifts to our clients. Instead, we ask them to recommend 1 of 3 organisations where Candid would contribute on their behalf”, adds Atul.

Team Candid embraced ‘Green Diwali’ to highlight the multiple hazards of environmental degradation. As a part of this initiative; they have discouraged firecrackers and are using only newspapers, flowers, handmade lanterns, paint colors and organic colors for rangoli for decorations.

Central to the celebrations, is a desk plant for every team member for embracing the initiative and participating in the celebrations wholeheartedly.
