Tata Motors hosts two-day trucking expo 'Truck World' in Delhi, engaged 60k truckers so far

Furthering initiatives for an enhanced customer purchase experience of its Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles, Tata Motors showcased over 30 different commercial vehicles solutions, from the haulage to construction, including key technologies and services, at its Advanced Trucking Expo 'Truck World' in New Delhi.

A unique initiative for commercial vehicle customers, Tata Motors kicked off the two-day expo on 13th February, 2017 at Palm Green Hotel and Resorts, Main GT Karnal Highway, Near Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, Delhi, offering Tata Motors and its partners, communicative and promotional opportunities about its products and solutions, ‘all under one roof’ – a first-of-its-kind comprehensive experience by a commercial vehicle brand.

Commenting on the occasion, Rajesh Kaul, Business Head, Intermediate, Medium & Heavy Trucks, Tata Motors said, “With the commercial vehicles industry having evolved over the last couple of years and as the country’s largest commercial vehicles manufacturer, we at Tata Motors will continue to lead the industry, offering superior technology and value. Through this Expo, we aim to showcase world-class innovation, proven developments in technology and enrich customer engagement. It is a great opportunity for customers to explore the latest vehicles and technology that Tata has to offer in India’s trucking landscape. Over 30 large Tata Motors commercial vehicles will be showcased all under one roof, with nearly a dozen trucking technologies and service offerings, including stage performances and games for truckers and their families, thus making the experience of buying a Tata Motors commercial vehicle even more special. A two-day event in Delhi, we have also hosted Truck World in twelve other centers so far and plan to take the event to many other cities during the year.”

Rajesh Kaul further added, “At Truck World, we take the opportunity to launch new products and also showcase our BSIV range of vehicles for the first time. At Truck World Delhi, we will unveil our new SIGNA range of M&HCVs to our customers, our latest offering from the Tata Motors commercial vehicle stable, showcasing years of experience and hard work, all aimed at increasing fleet efficiency, at the same time attracting the best commercial vehicle drivers. With the new Signa range, we hope to bring modern trucking mainstream for our M&HCV customers, addressing emerging needs for a safer, more comfortable and a connected commercial vehicle experience.”

Having being hosted in 15 cities across India, the Truck World: Advanced Trucking Expo has managed to attract a crowd of over 60,000 truckers and their families, so far. Tata Motors also plans to organise Truck World, in other trucking centers across the country.
