ShowCase Events delivers an incredible 'Close to Live' experience in a digital concert
The digital concert was organised as a gesture of thanks for teachers who have been working overtime in the digital space.
Recently, ShowCase Events successfully organised and coordinated a special Digital Concert of Gratitude for the teachers of a renowned educational institution on their last day of school, as a gesture of thanks for their educators who have been working overtime in the digital space. Teachers, who have been conducting classes online, creating content, learning new technology themselves and handling so much more. ShowCase Events curated the entire event working seamlessly with the back-end tech team of the school ensuring that technology was used in the best possible way to deliver a 'close to live' concert experience. The video and sound quality of the show was remarkable and was a result of repeated technical checks in the days leading up to the concert.
The artist who was invited to perform for the teachers was the multiple award winning Sufi singer and composer, Sonam Kalra. Her unique brainchild, 'The Sufi Gospel Project’ which blends together the many voices of faith using poetry, prayer and music, to create one universal voice has earned her much international critical acclaim and she is widely regarded as the 'Voice of Peace' in many places.
Her Coke Studio song, 'Man Manam' transported everyone into another world whilst her rendition of the Sikh morning prayer, 'Ek Onkar' was very moving. Her songs 'Bol', and 'Aaoonga' had everyone mesmerised but it was her last song, Alfat that actually made everyone get off their chairs and start dancing - definitely a first for a digital concert and proof that digital concerts can feel as special as a live show when executed correctly.
