Salman Khan pledges to support 25,000 daily wage workers

Salman's contribution will aid the artists of Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), said the body's president BN Tiwari.


Bollywood superstar Salman Khan decided to extend help to 25,000-odd daily wage workers of the film industry whose lives have been affected by the ongoing national lockdown that has brought all filming activity in Bollywood to a halt.

According to Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), President B N Tiwari, Salman via his Being Human Foundation reached out to their organisation to help the workers.

During this tough phase,  Salman Khan's support to them will surely work as a much-needed relief in crisis.

Salman Khan's NGO has also been providing for people with their education and medical needs.

Earlier in the week, filmmakers and actors, including Karan Johar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Taapsee Pannu, Nitesh Tiwari and Rakul Preet Singh pledged their support to a this initiative and aimed at supporting the daily wage earners.
