Red Bull Tour Bus to pit stop at Kolkatta and Bhubaneshwar


In its third stint in the east, Red Bull Tour Bus is getting set to pull over at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kolkata and Xavier’s Institute of Management (XIMB), Bhubaneswar to bring some reggae sounds to music starved crowds here.

This time around, the bus will see headlining act by The Reggae Rajahs. The Delhi based trio are the authority when it comes to reggae and are known for their energetic live performances.

Opening the stage for The Reggae Rajahs at IIM, is Kolkata’s very own Underground Authority. The five piece local band creates music that is influenced by a blend of protest poetry, reggae, alt rock and rap rock. The band uses socio-political messages and anti-capitalism agenda in their song lyrics. The gig will take place on Friday, January 30th 2015, 7:00pm onwards.

In Bhubaneshwar, at XIMB is Abhishek Bhatia’s solo project Curtain Blue will open for The Reggae Rajahs. Vocalist of the Delhi based band, The Circus, Abhishek has given his electronic and down tempo sensibilities the Curtain Blue avatar. The gig will take place on Sunday, February 1st 2015, 7:00pm onwards.
