Philips India sets Limca record with its Perfect Care Iron
Philips India, announced the launch of Philips Perfect Care Iron. As a renowned name in the garment care sector, Philips India has found the perfect solution for the daily needs of its evolved and informed consumer.
Not only Philips had the launch of its innovative product, it also attempted a novel record to enter the Limca Book of Records. The event kick-started with Mr. ADA Ratnam, President, Consumer Lifestyle, Philips India and Mr.Gulbahar Taurani, Director Marketing and Business Head, Domestic Appliances elucidating on the details of the product.
The record making attempt involved ironing a grand ball gown made of 100 metres of cloth including 37 different fabrics including Velvet, Georgette, Suede and several others in less than 120 minutes, without altering temperature settings. Despite the intricacies and the delicate nature of the fabrics, the gown was ironed non-stop. Right after the launch of the product, guests were unveiled to the magnificent gown and were asked to join the record making initiative.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. ADA Ratnam, said:
