PM Narendra Modi inaugurates India Global Week 2020

Prime Minister of India, Shri. Narendra Modi today inaugurated India Global Week 2020. A three-day virtual conference themed #BeTheRevival: India and a Better New World, India Global Week 2020 had the Prime Minister address 10,000 global participants from 52 countries in the inaugural session.

Delivering his first address to a global audience since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Prime Minister said “The story of global revival will have India playing a leading role. The Indian tech industry and professionals have been showing the way for decades – India is a powerhouse of talent that is eager to contribute. When India talks about revival, it is revival with care, revival with compassion, revival with sustainability. We have the spirit to achieve what is believed to be impossible. No wonder, in India we are already seeing green shoots when it comes to economic recovery”

Praising India Inc. the Prime Minister said “I appreciate India Inc. Group organising this important event, which is part of the excellent work that India Inc. has done over the past years. Your events have helped bring the opportunities in India to a global audience”. He further added “You have helped make the links between India and the UK stronger. I’m happy that this year’s event has expanded its reach to other partners also. Congratulations again".
