Ola Electric Sold Ola S1 scooters For Rs. 600 crore

Friday (today) is the last day customers buy Ola S1 and S1 Pro scooters. Those who have already reserved can make additional purchases until the purchasing window closes at midnight tonight.

Ola co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal on Thursday said Ola Electric has sold Ola S1 scooters over Rs. 600 crore. On Wednesday, the company started the sale process of its e-scooter, which comes in two models which are Ola S1 and S1.

The company said that it managed to sell 4 scooters every second of the first 24 hours.  Bhavish Aggarwal took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, "At 600Cr, Ola sold more than the entire 2W industry put together yesterday!"

“India is committing to EVs and rejecting petrol! We sold 4 scooters/sec at peak & sold scooters worth 600Cr+ in a day! Today is the last day, purchases will shut at midnight. So lock in this introductory price and buy on the Ola app before we sell out," Aggarwal tweeted.

Customers can keep their place in the purchase line. The only location where consumers can make a purchase is through the Ola Application.

Meanwhile, the Ola S1 has an EMI of Rs 2,999, while the Ola S1 Pro has an EMI of Rs 3,199. 

The new Scooter has a driving range of up to 181 kilometres and a top speed of up to 115 kilometres per hour for the S1 Pro.
