Ministry supports 3-day ASEAN India Music Festival organized by Seher at Purana Qila

The ASEAN India Music Festival concluded its first edition on Sunday with a grand finale performed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. The three-day music festival organized by Ministry of External Affairs(GOI) and Sehar witnessed thousands of Delhiites at Purana Qila enjoying the tunes of bands from 11 ASEAN member countries. 15 bands from 11 nations performed together to celebrate the 25th anniversary of ASEAN-India Dialogue Relations. This celebration has given an opportunity to all the ASEAN member states to come together and show their talent in Delhi.

The three-day music event witnessed performances by Indian artists like Papon Live, Avial and Shankar Ehsaan Loy and International bands such as Tim de Cotta (Singapore), L’alphalpha (Indonesia), Red Bamboo (Vietnam) along with many more. The first edition of the ASEAN India Music Festival saw the finale performance by Shankar Ehsaan Loy.

Commenting on its collaboration with Ministry of External affairs for this fest, Mr. Sanjeev Bhargava, Founder Director, Seher said, “Music is one such powerful tool that brings people and artists together. We are honored to wrap-up the first ever ASEAN-India Music festival in the capital, where the city has witnessed 15 top Bands from 11 nations perform together on one stage. The 3-day Musical extravaganza showcased musical extravaganza where music lovers relished the tunes of Masters such as Shankar Ehsaan & Loy, Papon LIVE and Raghu Dixit project from India along with vibrant music from the Bands of ASEAN member states!”

The first edition of the ASEAN India Music Festival aimed to enthrall the Delhi audiences with a weekend full of memories. A two-day Jaipur edition of the festival began from 9th October.
