MeraEvents, the Hyderabad-based events technology solutions provider, partnered with transportation network firm Uber Technologies to provide free cab rides to its customers through a unique association.



Any MeraEvents customer is entitled to the experience of two Uber free rides worth INR 500 each. All they have to do to buy event tickets on MeraEvents website to get the Uber promo code to avail the free offer.



As a portal dedicated to events, conferences, exhibitions, seminars and trade fairs, MeraEvents broadly caters to event organizers and potential event attendees. Organizers can list, promote and provide a ticketing for their events across various categories such as Entertainment, Sports, Training, Spiritual, Campus, Trade Shows, etc.

Uber is one of the biggest proponents of experiential marketing abroad. They recently home-delivered cats for people to cuddle with for $20 on occasion of National Cat Day. Before that, they partnered with Budlight for the #UpForWhatever activation to drive passers-by from their location to a Super Bowl party.







However, launched last year in the country, the brand is still taking baby steps with their stunts. If the MeraEvents association is anything to go by, we can surely look forward to some fun stunts in the future.
