John Sculley interacts with The Sedibus, advises on Startup Ecosystem and Importance of AI

John Sculley, well known as the former CEO of Apple, Youngest President, PepsiCo and American businessman, entrepreneur and investor in high-tech startups visited the offices of Malaxmi Group's The Sedibus on Saturday in Hyderabad.

John Sculley, well known as the former CEO of Apple, Youngest President, PepsiCo and American businessman, entrepreneur and investor in high-tech startups visited the offices of Malaxmi Group's The Sedibus on Saturday in Hyderabad. He, along with wife Diane Sculley were welcomed by Harish Chandra Prasad, Founder and Chief Mentor of Malaxmi Group. The latter briefed the guests about all the activities of the Group, and explained the 'Mind, Body and Soul' vision of Malaxmi in making a meaningful impact on the society. Deepa Balasubramanian, CEO, The Sedibus, then briefed the guests about roadmap for startups and the need to be inclusive and coexist along with the other ecosystems to hand hold Indian Startups. Sculley, who was visiting Hyderabad for the first time appreciated the efforts of The Sedibus team and offered valuable inputs. He stated that there is a great scope and possibility with artificial intelligence and data science in the sectors like biotech, capable of changing human lives significantly. He lauded the growing spirit of entrepreneurship in India, particularly AP and Telangana, and shared that staying current with the technology and creating disruption with productive inventions are essential to enhance lives. He spoke about the fourth industrial revolution and said that the possibility of machines overtaking humans was decades away. He explained about 'technology singularity' gaining momentum by the year 2045, the time frame with Artificial Intelligence would surpass humans as the smartest form. The current AI is still in the stages of pattern matching and predictive analytics.

John Sculley congratulated Malaxmi team and said that he would look forward to many more such initiatives stemming from the Group.The session was joined by Ravi Ika, Founder and CEO of RxAdvance, Sasikanth Vallepalli, Founder, Q Hub Workspaces and Srinivas Guttikonda, Chairman, North America Telugu Society (NATS).
