International Sports Management Limited executes 'Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup' in Mumbai

?

The latest stage of the 2015 Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup took place at Bombay Presidency Golf Club in Mumbai, India, on Saturday March 21st.

The tournament was executed by International Sports Management Limited, a sports management agency based in Cheshire, England.

For the three consecutive years the tournament has reached to 65 destinations, from 45 countries, featured 96 players in Mumbai, all personally-invited guests of Turkish Airlines.

Hamesh Patel and Jayant Dua finished first in their respective categories in the individual stableford competition and therefore progress to the Grand Final in Antalya, Turkey, this November. Kshitin Saxena, meanwhile, won the nearest-the-pin prizes.

“We would like to congratulate everyone who took part in the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup qualifier in Mumbai,” said Mehmet Akay, General Manager for Turkish Airlines Mumbai. “It was a brilliant day and well done to our winners, Hamesh and Jayant - we look forward to seeing you in Antalya in October.”

The first qualifier took place in South Africa in March and tournaments will be taking place across the globe, including Hong Kong, Great Britain, South Korea, Japan, China, Spain, the United States, Portugal, Italy, France, Greece, Argentina, Brazil and Turkey.

The overall winners of the Grand Final will play in the 2015 Turkish Airlines Open pro-am, while all finalists are to enjoy a seven-night stay in an all-inclusive hotel.

Turkish Airlines, which was recently voted Europe’s best airline for the fourth consecutive year (2014), launched the World Golf Cup in 2013, featuring 12 qualifying events.

It featured 12 qualifying events and was won by China’s Han Liang. His prize for victory was partnering world number one and 14-time major champion Tiger Woods in the Turkish Airlines Open pro-am.

After that initial success, there was a rapid expansion to include 50 events worldwide last year.
