India Super Bike Festival all set to kick off in Bangalore on 10th May

The 3rd edition of the India Super Bike Festival (ISF) will be held in Phoenix Marketcity, Bangalore on 10th May. The property, jointly by Axon1 Events and Overdrive Magazine is expected to feature more than 500 heavy motorcycles for fans to see over the course of the weekend.

“The idea of the India Super Bike Festival is to get bikers together to give them a platform to display what they own,” says Amol Talpade, one of the organisers of the festival. The belief internally is to create a platform for people who share the passion for motorcycling to meet and form friendships.

Apart from flaunting motorcycles of every make, the festival offers a plethora of activities as attractions. Audiences can keep themselves engaged by participating in several activities, competitions, shopping for gear, and watch live music on display among other things.

Some breathtaking biking activities like burnout events and stunts are bound to draw large numbers of people to the festival. There will also be an off-road track that visitors can have a go at. Since the festival actively emphasizes on rider safety, an ‘expo’ showcasing accessories, spares and other motorcycle goodies from global riding gears manufacturers is expected.

A few global motorcycle manufacturers such as Harley Davidson, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Ducati will be displaying their powerful and exotic super bikes at the venue. Previous editions have seen big players like Suzuki, BMW Motorrad, KTM, Aprilia and many more brands occupying display spaces.

Last year’s festival, which was held in Pune, saw a record 500 bikers flaunting a wide array of super bikes in front of a two lakh strong audience. Apart from this, one of the biggest draws was the vintage section where some bikes on display were almost a century old. Also featured was a Supercross event with a dirt track and MX bikes.

With over a dozen new 600cc-plus motorcycles launched over the past few months, the organizers are confident that the festival will to hit unprecedented numbers in attendance this year. Bikes, contests, music and attractions will be the icing on the cake for the perfect two-day getaway.
