Hacketthosts ‘racing’ theme party to celebratethe Williams Martini partnership

?

The Hackett Regent Street store was packed on 15th Maywith F1 enthusiasts and members of the Williams Martini Racingteam who were out to celebrate the launch of the Hackett and Williams Martini Racing partnership.

Guests who joined Jeremy Hackett to celebrate included ValtteriBottas, Claire Williams andracing car driver Freddie Hunt. Sports TV presenters Natalie Pinkham and Jennie Gow also enjoyed proceedings, along with Quintessentially co-founder Ben Elliot and Olympic rower Sophie Hosking MBE.

Guests arrived to the sound of car engines that accompanied the now iconic ‘Coolest Pit-stop’ video showing in one window and the Williams Martini Racing car sitting expectantly in the other window. While guests sipped on exotic cocktails inspired by the impending Monaco GP, DJ NihalArthanayake added to the ambience as if the sounds were drifting over from a yacht moored in the harbour.

The racing theme continued upstairs as works of Angela Palmers ‘Adrenalin’ F1 racing art were scattered around the store, with the vibrant neon lights of the world’s most familiar circuits making a big impression. The now famous F1 Opus books containing hundreds of both rare and iconic shots, many signed by the drivers themselves were also on display to keep in line with the evening’s racing theme.

After the initial snaps and photo-calls ValtteriBottas set a ‘fast lap’ around the famous Monaco circuit in the simulator on the ground floor and for the price of a small donation to the Spinal Injury Association any budding F1™ driver could pit themselves against the Fin and try and beat his time. No one could quite match the skill of Valtteri, so there will be no unexpected drivers discovered at the Hackett launch event this year!
