Google Maps is a gamechanger- Rajesh Varma, Founder & Director, CRI Events

Imagine navigating the alleys of an exotic city better than a local on your first trip there? Who would've thought this would be a possibility 10 years back? Thanks to sophisticated mapping technology, nuanced navigational systems, and ubiquitous GPS systems, it is possible to travel to new countries and feel at home within minutes.

Google Maps has been a gamechanger in ways more than one - be it finding a neighbourhood restaurant, a new cafe in the city, or a landmark it's never been easier. All you need to do is punch in a location into your phone and voila you're good to go. All this might have sounded fantastic a few years back, but Google Maps has changed everything - one quick glance at your phone and you could conquer everything from crowded neighbourhoods to labyrinthine alleys at the touch of a button.

This is possible because of millions of sophisticated cameras, mobile video cameras, and networking devices scattered around the globe. Everything from road blockades in the US and traffic jams in Germany to concerts in Bulgaria, and restaurants in India are just a tap of a finger away. Who knows what the next 10 years will bring?
