Fountainhead MKTG plans and executes UltraTech’s Gujarat Felicitation
UltraTech, India’s leading cement brand – a part of the Aditya Birla Group - felicitated its channel partners in Gujarat in a grand performance driven awards show spectacle at The Arena by TransStadia, Ahmedabad. Fountainhead MKTG, a part of Denstu Aegis Network, has been working closely with UltraTech across all their regions pan India for the last 6 years and was up to the task of delivering the event.
Fountainhead MKTG devised the theme “Ek Junoon, Ek Jashn” – to reflect the coming together of the channel partners affiliated with brand UltraTech and their united purpose and drive. This mammoth event saw an attendance of over 12,000 people which included the channel partners and their families. Fountainhead MKTG devised a pre-buzz plan which included a mix of teasers, games, videos and activities in the run up to the event in order to build excitement for the same.
The show kicked off with a heliosphere act that took place above the gathered audience. This was followed by an introduction to the evening’s proceedings by the emcees - the hilarious Gujarati comedians Manan Desai and Ojas Rawal. The awards segments were split into 2 halves to honour the outstanding Samrats and Champions. These segments were interspersed with comedic skits by the emcees that had the audiences roaring with laughter.
Once the formalities were done, it was time to party and UltraTech together with Fountainhead MKTG left no stone unturned to ensure the audience had a grand time. The first performer to rock the stage was Farhan Akhtar and band who had the audience jump right out of their seats in a grand celebration. The high tempo set by Farhan was matched in equal measure by the performers that followed – Shankar Ehsaan Loy. The terrific trio had the audience swaying in delight and had a special surprise in store as they performed a song titled ‘Ek Junoon, Ek Jashn’ that they specially composed for the event. At the end of the night, the trio invited Farhan back on stage to cap what had been an exciting, power packed evening of music performances.
Fountainhead MKTG understood that an event of this stature needed to be given nothing but the grandest treatment possible and continuously ran specially created content on over 2500 sqft of LED screens. Over 250 awards were being handed out, and the agency ensured that the show ran smoothly and without any glitches or hang-ups whatsoever.
