Final verdict on the Enchanted Valley Carnival '13

With Aamby valley as its venue sponsor, the finale of Enchanted Valley Carnival(EVC) on 8 December saw music and entertainment up to code at this first ever three day on-site camping music festival.

Anshul Makhija, Aditya Wanwari, Priyanjana, Whosane and Algorhythm had the crowds kick start their day and Miki Taka, Sophie Sugar, Jaytech, Matboy/Mink and Swarathma upped the tempo to set the mood for the grand finale.

As the sun set over the horizon, Jeremy Olander and Fehr Play, Super8 & Tab, Raghu Dixit Project performed to an enchanted crowd. Pop artist Taio Cruz and the youngest star on the EDM scene, Martin Garrix, took to the stage later and performed for the first time ever for Indian audiences. The last sets of the day were by power house duo Gabriel & Dresden and Bassjackers.

Camping, adventure, hot air balloons (that had two couples get hitched during a ride over the Aamby Valley Festival Arena), bonfires, open air barbecues, after parties and good music summed up the first edition of Enchanted Valley Carnival.

Speaking on the occasion Shaju Ignatius, Co-Founder, EVC and Shoven Shah, Co-founder, EVC and Director, Twisted Entertainment said “We are extremely elated with the response to the first edition to the Enchanted Valley Carnival. People took to the camping and adventure elements with equal enthusiasm as the music. This encourages us to come back next year better and definitely bigger. India has great thirst for music and entertainment. EVC is our attempt to combine the two elements with the extra dose of adventure. Enchanted Valley Carnival is so much more than a music event; it’s an experiential music festival and we are glad that people enjoyed all the varied aspects. We eagerly look forward to satiating this thirst further with more editions of EVC in the future.

Speaking on the association Mr. Vivek Kumar, CEO Aamby Valley City and Hotel Sahara Star said “We at Aamby Valley City are extremely pleased to extend our support to this one of a kind festival. Through our association with Enchanted Valley Carnival our aim was to provide music lovers with an international music experience. The three day extravaganza at Aamby Valley City showcased over 60 renowned artists from around the world along with camping, music and other activities. At Aamby Valley City we always strive to present our guests with unique offerings and look forward to bringing many more such experiences to India.”
