EMF announces its first ever ACE summit; A boost for Gujarat’s events industry

Taking the first foot forward, Event Management Federation (EMF) announces its first ever summit aptly titled ‘ACE’, which stands for Awards, Convention and Exhibition, to be held on September 12, Friday and 13, Saturday - 2014, in Ahmedabad. The two-day event will not only combine awards and convention as most other conclaves do, but it goes a step further by providing an opportunity for its members to exhibit their work.



Speaking on EMF’s first ACE conclave, its president and founder of ‘True Events’, Dr. Jaydeep Mehta said:



“It is one of its kind where all three things are happening. You usually have awards and convention but not exhibition - it is a combination of all three. You get good feedback, good knowledge sharing, good recognition and at the same time business opportunity. It is a B2B event where you get recognition and knowledge but ultimately all your efforts are towards achieve conversion. It is the perfect blend of all three, this is why encourage people to participate.”



The EMF has been formed to provide Gujarat’s events industry a forum to integrate and interact, where the partners will learn about best practices, latest techniques, strategies and skills.



EMF’s first event summit, ACE 2014 will take EMF’s vision forward by creating a platform to let companies from the events domain to exhibit and share their success stories, inspiring emerging event companies and entrepreneurs.



The ACE summit will also witness the Mega Exhibition that will host the most extensive range of exhibitor venues, vendors suppliers, global technology providers, talent management and many more. It will offer an opportunity for event management organizations and vendors to interact and benefit mutually. The event is also likely to draw eminent figures from the business, social, political, media, education and film community of India. The Jury for ACE summit will be chaired by the CEO of one of the most watched channels in India, Colors - Raj Nayak.



The event will host an awards ceremony to recognize excellence in the domain and includes the following categories: social events, corporate events, government events, festival events, BTL activations, CSR, best use of technology, innovation and most promising newcomer.



Gujarat has been the centre of business and industrial development for over a decade now. The state has become synonymous with prosperity. The highly successful Vibrant Gujarat summit that attracts investors from across the world annually, has put Gujarat on the world map. Its expansive market is not just business-friendly but has become an engine of growth. Gujarat is also the birthplace of its highly enigmatic ex-Chief Minister and current Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.
