EEMA North organizes 'Car Treasure Hunt'


55 teams, a complete package of undying passion to win, rushes of adrenaline that denied to drop, and an entertaining evening loaded with fun and excitement – These were the protagonists, which created a story to be remembered by the members of EEMA and all those who are associated with the event Industry. On 29 March, 2014, the 1st EEMA North Car Treasure Hunt fructified while highlighting the unmatched spirits of the members of EEMA and their family members.

It all started with a teasing prelude. A series of illustrative and artistic pages of an imaginary diary named “The Treasure Hunt Diaries” was sent to the members. Each page talked about a place in Delhi which could be a place to be hunted in the treasure hunt.

Over 50 cars participated making the endeavor a big success. Around 200 clues were distributed among over 200 participants. The hunt was augmented with exciting tasks to be accomplished by the contestants during the course. Each clue led to a landmark in an exciting and intriguing manner. All the contestants were connected through custom made event app. The entire hunt was facilitated by the presence of Route Marshalls and a well-equipped control room.

The hunt laden with numerous exciting and sharp moments ended with 6 top teams receiving awards. The competition was so tight that there were three teams finishing first. The top three teams were decided on the basis of time taken to complete the hunt.  The winners were given trophies, gifts, vouchers, etc. At first position was Amanveer and his team from Ten Events, the second spot was occupied by Akriti and her team from Rashi Entertainment followed by Pushp and his team from CPM India at the third position.

There were special prizes for the best decorated car bagged by Team CPM India, for the best dressed team bagged by Team Vibgyor, and for the best dressed family bagged by Team Touchwood.

After the hunt, the stage was set for a fascinating party serving a cocktail of magnificent performances and entertainment capsules. The guests were gripped by the performances of Stereo Nation, Band Sankraman, Rahul & Sumit, Dahek and Dancing Divas. This motley of entertaining performances was hosted by the renowned emcee Gitikka Ganju Dhar.

When asked about the success of EEMA Car Treasure Hunt, Rajesh Varma, General Secretary of EEMA and Director of CRI Events Pvt. Ltd. said, “The positive vibe which filled the air was so heartening to see, the entire experiential domain of event managers-supply chain and artists coming together with families for a hunt just goes to show that EEMA (event and entertainment management association) has come of age. Looking forward to many such experiences in the future.”

Commenting on the event, Vijay Arora, Vice President, EEMA, North andDirector of Touchwood Entertainment, said: “We at EEMA always organize various networking parties and cocktail dinners so this time the motive was to have an outdoor family gathering.”

Further explaining the event, Mandeep Singh Secretary, EEMA and MD & CEO, CPM India Sales & Marketing Pvt. Ltd. said, “The idea was to have fun while discovering the places in Delhi, which we have always cherished at some point of time. We actually had 200+ clues hence people visited all the locations. The big highlight was the use of technology and the whole hunt experience was managed with the help of mobile technology.”

Speaking further about the creative quotient showcased through this event, Sachin Talwar, member of the Executive Committee, EEMA, North and Director of Wow Events Pvt Ltd, said, “We made sure that all of the creative pieces, from teasers to setup designs, were aligned to create a fantastic impact – the perfect idea, the right designs, the memorable artwork, and of course, the response from our audience which further boosted our spirits.”

Emphasizing on the perfection with which the Car Treasure Hunt was executed, Mr. Vipul Pandhi, member of the Executive Committee, EEMA, North and Director of Workaholics Event Solutions Pvt. Ltd. said, “ It was a brilliant concept and we produced it brilliantly. We did it flawlessly. From sourcing to fabrication to execution, we pulled it off with sheer brilliance.”

The event’s F&B partner was ‘Purpleberry’, digital printing partner was ‘Big Prints’ and light & sound partner was ‘The Beats’. The gift vouchers were sponsored by Liberty shoes.
