?

Motherhood knows no bounds and is the greatest blessing for a child. However, not all children get the opportunity to experience and cherish a mother's love. Dalda Cooking Oils conceptualized a unique initiative titled 'Meri Mom, Sabki Mom' to celebrate the spirit of motherhood with unprivileged children in Lucknow and Varanasi.

Mom made food is a life-long memory cherished by all, Dalda Cooking Oils brought these heartfelt memories alive with a special event held on Sunday, 17th May 2015 which was celebrated with unprivileged children.

The campaign was launched on the occasion of Mother's Day wherein mothers from Lucknow & Varanasi were invited to be a part of this initiative with a call to action number. The initiative witnessed 100 mothers being shortlisted to be a part of the event.

Speaking on the concept of this campaign, Mr. Sagar Boke, Head of Marketing, Bunge India says,"Being a mother is one of the toughest roles in a woman's life and underprivileged children always crave for this love. Dalda Cooking Oils 'Meri Mom, Sabki Mom' is an initiative very close to our hearts, through which we wanted to celebrate the spirit of motherhood and give these children a chance to experience a mother's love through Mom made food. Dalda has always been synonymous with a mother's love for her child which led to the culmination of this unique campaign"

The mothers invited for the event volunteered to prepare 500 tiffin boxes which included delicacies like samosas, cutlet, dhoklas using Dalda Cooking Oils. The mothers also indulged in a candid discussion and shared their Dalda motherhood moments. Various fun activities were organized for their children which included card making and a song performance followed by a cake cutting ceremony.

The event also included a trip to the orphanage where the mothers distributed the specially prepared tiffins along with t-shirts to the kids, whilst the children played with them and shared their tiffins.
