Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Raj Nayak, Vijay Shekhar Sharma attend Women Economic Forum 2017

"Women Economic Forum-2017" (WEF), a six-day global conference with the theme of ‘Women: Creating, Innovating, Understanding and Driving the Future’ was inaugurated today by Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of I&B, Government of India, Col Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore .

Other speakers on this occasion were Raj Nayak-CEO Colors, Viacom18, Vijay Shekhar Sharma- of Paytm Mobile Solutions Private Limited, Radha Kapoor Khanna- Founder and Executive Director, Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI).

Welcoming the chief guest and delegates of WEF 2017, Dr. Harbeen Arora, Founder & Global Chairperson, ALL Ladies League (ALL) and Women Economic Forum (WEF) said, “It is such a delight to have women, speakers and delegates from across the world in the room. We believe that this week will create, innovate and understand how we all can get together to build a better future for all of us.”

Col Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of I&B, Government of India said, “Having been raised by a working woman myself, I understand the significance of women empowerment. I am honoured to be a part of this WEF-2017 as it brings women from across the globe together to talk on diverse topics that will enable this movement.”

Raj Nayak, CEO Viacom18, said, “Several prominent positions are held by women in my team and they bring a lot of talent and creativity. In my opinion women rights are human rights and all human beings should have equal opportunities.”

Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Founder of Paytm Mobile Solutions Private Limited said, “This is a great platform for entrepreneurs to celebrate women economic empowerment. I am glad to be present at the WEF 2017 and appreciate the efforts of the organiser to have brilliant speakers on-board to share both their personal and professional experiences.”

Expressing her appreciation for All Ladies League & Women Economic Forum, Radha Kapoor Khanna, Founder and Executive Director, Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI) said,” This acknowledgment will motivate me to continue my ongoing efforts to promote entrepreneurship in India. I consider myself a ‘creative entrepreneur’, with interest in several ventures.” She added, “My investment philosophy is to invest in new-age ventures that have strong elements of Design-Innovation-Creativity-Entrepreneurship (DICE). I firmly believe that this philosophy truly characterizes the rise of the 'entrepreneurial economy' in India.”
