Candid gives a taste of Mangalyaan to Pogo fans

Candid Marketing, brand activation & event agency, conceptualized and executed a fun event for the popular kids’ channel, Pogo, Turner International India for the second year in a row. This year, the theme was ‘Mighty Raju Ka Space Station’, inspired by ‘Mangalyaan’ – India’s successful mission to Mars.



‘Mighty Raju Ka Space Station’ was a 2-day event held at Ansal Plaza, Delhi & Inorbit Mall, Malad, Mumbai, in the month of December. The event engaged and educated kids via multiple fun scientific experiments, workshops and games that aided understanding of interesting facts about the space and the universe we inhabit.







The events witnessed 8000+ kids and parents who witnessed the experiments that made learning about Black Hole & Rockets, fun & simple using Acetone & Liquid-nitrogen. The workshops helped learning about space elements like Earth, Rocket, Star, Moon and Sun effortless and enjoyable for the kids.







The exciting point of the events was, not only did the kids got the chance to meet their favourite cartoon characters – Chhota Bheem, Chhutki and Mighty Raju, Mr. Bean and Tom & Jerry, but also got to witness spectacular performances that made them sing and dance to their tunes, along with their parents.



Commenting on the activity, Ms. Amrita Kumar, Managing Partner, Candid Marketing, says, “"We are privileged to have done the Pogo event for 2 years in a row now. Kids being a very difficult audience to engage, our approach was to take a subject from the present topics that they find difficult to understand and simplify it to an extent that it is no longer boring but is instead enlightening, engaging and entertaining. While designing the event, we kept in mind the Channel’s programming, kid-friendly environment and single tonality for the event. We're glad that the event received an overwhelming response from both kids & parents in both the cities."
