Candid Marketing makes a mark at Goafest 2014

Candid Marketing, the Brand Activation agency, bagged Gold, Silver & Bronze at the Creative Abbys recently held at Goafest 2014. With this, Candid Marketing becomes the 1st agency in the brand activation industry to win 3 awards at Goafest.

For their Nokia Agent 1020 campaign, the agency decided to tell a crime story to highlight the phone’s exceptional zoom capabilities. At malls, retail stores and consumer events across 6 cities in India, ‘crime scenes’ and passers-by were invited to ‘crack’ the case and take home Nokia Lumia 1020s for themselves. The catch? Props at the scene were so small that only the phone’s 41-megapixel zoom could help the ‘Agent’s’ case. The campaign was a brilliant idea that conveyed product benefit while keeping the consumer engrossed in the experience.



The Oreo campaign, Candid’s bronze winner at the Goafest, attempted the Guinness world record ™ for ‘Most People Dunking Cookies’, With 1796 youngsters performing the iconic brand’s signature ritual at one place, in one go. The Mood Indigo attempt broke the previous record that was set in Argentina where 1503 people had participated.
