Axwell performs for 5000 fans at Maruti Suzuki's launch of Ignis
Maruti Suzuki’s latest car Ignis was launched in style as 4 time Grammy award nominee Axwell flew down to perform for a gathering of 5000 fans on 13th January 2017.
Presenting the Ignis to the millennial, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki, Mr. Kenichi Ayukawa said: "Nexa, our premium automotive retail channel, now has an offering for the millennial- Ignis. It combines unconventional design, seamless smartphone experience with AndroidAuto and Apple CarPlay, technological supremacy with AGS on petrol and diesel, advanced safety features as standard and personalization options, making it unique on every parameter. Ignis at Nexa will help us expand our presence in the premium compact segment."
Ignis is built on a new generation rigid platform embodying Suzuki Total Effective Control Technology (TECT) for occupant protection. The Company, along with its suppliers, has invested over Rs 950 Crore towards development of Ignis. Ignis comes with 98.5% localization.
Ignis was unveiled at an enthralling Electronic Dance and Music (EDM) concert featuring Axwell, amongst a gathering of over 5,000 millennial. Awell is a globally acclaimed Swedish DJ music producer and remixer, is highly popular among youth and proved to be a great fit for the launch.
Bottomline Media, Axwell’s liasoning partner in India, established the collaboration between the DJ and Maruti Suzuki. Axwell will be exploring further partnerships within the Indian entertainment industry through Bottomline Media, who recently also brought The Vamps to India for Global Citizen festival.
