8th Jagran Film Festival to drop the curtain in Mumbai this September
Travelling film festival, Jagran Film Festival in its 8th edition will travel to Mumbai for its last leg from 18 to 24 September 2017 to showcase over 130 screenings that include a stellar a line-up of films from across the world. The venue of the finale would be Cinepolis, Andheri West, Mumbai.
Some of the prominent sections of the festival are World Panorama, Indian Showcase, Jagran Shorts, Jagran Discovery, Country Focus and the Retrospective of films.
The 8th edition of Jagran Film Festival will conduct its last leg in Mumbai. The Festival invites entries from film makers across the globe for its various competitive sections with 31st August 2017 as the Closing date
The films produced between August 1, 2016 and May 31, 2017 are eligible for all competitive sections and awards at the Festival. More details on the regulations and awards are available on the Festival’s website: www.jff.co.in
Carrying its noble objective of ‘taking cinema to the masses in smaller cities of India, the Festival will travel to 16 cities this year too. Beginning with New Delhi on July 1, 2017, the Festival will travel to cities like Kanpur, Lucknow, Allahabad, Varanasi, Patna, Bhopal, Ranchi, Indore, Ludhiana, Dehradoon and many others before culminating in Mumbai with a gala film award ceremony in September 2017, the festival will have its week long run in Mumbai.
