The 19th European Film Festival in India edition brings a unique collection of European films, this time showcasing different aspects of youth and the young.



The festival is being held at British Council, New Delhi, from 28 February to

11 March.



It is a collection of dreams and passion, energy and frustration, fear and

uncertainty, pride and joy, mistakes and recognition - all things old and young

for both the young and not-so-young.



The festival opens with special screeing of the British Comedy 'Killing Bono'

based on a true story where two brothers attempt to become global rock stars

but can only look on as old school friends U2 become the biggest band in the

world. The film loosely recreates the story of young Irish rocker McCormick

and his younger brother, Ivan, who attempt to become rock stars but can only

look on as their secondary school friends form U2 and become the biggest band

in the world. The film stars Ben Barnes as Neil McCormick, Robert Sheehan as

Ivan McCormick, and Martin McCann as Irish singer Bono. It also features Pete

Postlethwaite in his final film role.



Entry to the festival is free and on a first-come basis.
