13th edition of Goafest 2018 managed by Fountainhead MKTG for 4th year in a row
A 3-day fiesta, Goafest 2018 was held from 5th to 7th April at Grand Hyatt, North Goa. With over 250 awards and 2000+ attendees, the festival saw high profile speakers from across the globe take the stage for the first time at Goafest. Fountainhead MKTG was awarded the mandate to manage the 13th edition of the festival for the fourth consecutive year. The experiential marketing agency is a part of Dentsu Aegis Network.
Goafest is the biggest advertising festival in South Asia hosted by The Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) in association with The Advertising Club, celebrating the best in advertising.
Music, Content, Creativity, Conclave, Workshops, Summit, Parties, Networking & more were all packed into one large festival that celebrated ideas & creativity across industries over 3 days. Fountainhead MKTG was also tasked with the additional responsibility to redesign the Goafest logo after 12 years in a manner that retained its original flavor while depicting creativity, celebration & connecting with a whole new generation of festival-goers.
The speakers for the year included Yog Rishi Baba Ramdevji, Kashyap Vadapalli - Chief Marketing Officer and Head of New Business, Pepperfry, Dean Donaldson & Jonathan Tavss - Transformation Strategist & Digital Futurologist, Kaleidoko, Faye D'souza - Executive Editor, Mirror Now, Jonty Rhodes - Cricket Legend, South Africa, Rapha Vasconcellos - Head of Creative Shop, APAC, Facebook, Rosie Yakob - Co Founder, Genius Steals, Amelia Conway - Director, Adolescent amongst several others.
Brian Tellis, Kubbra Sait and Gitikka Ganju Dhar were the official hosts for the 3 days. Performances for this year included Usha Uthup, Neha Bhasin & Khushboo Grewal.
Speaking on the successful completion of yet another year of Goafest, Rohan Salvi,Sr. VP & Regional Head West said, “This was our fourth year managing Goafest and for any legacy project such as this, our biggest challenge is always to outdo ourselves & deliver a festival that surpasses its preceding years. We spend months working with the AAAI & The Ad Club to produce an experience that has compelling content, different designs & sets qualitative benchmarks. Our partnership with AAAI & The Ad Club is not limited to just the event but in the true sense of running the entire festival as our own with us coordinating with multiple teams, all sponsors & parties involved.”

Speaking about the integrities of the event, Allan Mathew, Account Director- BD & CS explained the theme as ‘Goan Big’, which was depicted by larger than life representation of Goan elements and mnemonics throughout the festival.
Once the guests walked into the ballroom, they were blown away by a completely immersive visual experience.
