11th Edition Of Annual National Conclave, Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad To Be Held Virtually

The 11th BCS is likely to have the participation of 11 Union Ministers, 10 Assembly Speakers, 40 MLAs from different states, about 30 Thought Leaders, and 60 Student Speakers.


MIT School of Government hosted a virtual press conference on 17th September 2021 to announce the 11th edition of its flagship six-day Annual National Conclave, Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad or BCS (Indian Student Parliament).

BCS will be inaugurated by Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, followed by a special session with Union Minister, Nitin Gadkari. The conclave will start from 23rd September and the closing ceremony will take place on 28th September 2021, with Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, Ramesh Bias, Governor of Jharkhand, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, etc will also be addressing various sessions over the period of 6 days, it said in an official statement said. 

In its 11th year, BCS will be held virtually for the first time to make it accessible to Indian youth.

"The conclave is organized by MIT School of Government (Pune), the first school of its kind to create future political leaders, with active support from the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Association of Indian Universities (AIU), and the UNESCO Chair of Human Rights, Democracy and Peace, Pune, the statement read. 

"The upcoming conclave is the 11th annual edition, an important milestone in BCS’s journey and assumes special significance. This platform gives voice to the students and the political leaders to communicate with the youth of the country without aligning with any particular political party, leader, or ideology," it said. 

The 11th Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad (Indian Student Parliament) will be inaugurated on 23rd September 2021 at 11:00 AM. Nearly 20,000 student leaders from all states of India will participate.
